Simple White Bread

Peter's recipe, adapted from the book "Bröd, bröd, bröd" by Martin Johansson.

Ingredients


  • Dry yeast, 6 ml
  • Cold water, 3.5 dl
  • Flour (special), 7.5 dl
  • Salt, 1.5 tsp

Instructions


  1. Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl
  2. Add water (save a little water to the end, to make it come together easier)
  3. Mix into a dough (no kneeding necessary)
  4. Let in a covered bowl overnight
  5. (Fold the dough a few times and let sit for 1 hour, optional)
  6. Fold the dough into a bread shape and let sit in a floured kitchen towel for 30-60 min
  7. Bake in the oven at 230 degrees for 35 minutes
